I made these for a friend who wanted some scripture cards to use as thank you notes. The first card is made from different papers and ribbon I have in my stash. The stamp is from Stampin Up. The second card is also from my random stash of stuff. I used my Thank You Cuttlebug embossing folder and this stamp is also from Stampin Up. The ink used on both was chocolate from Close to my Heart. I made a series of 10 cards to go along with some I had made her earlier. Her husband has been diagnosed with possible ALS--they have been treating him for Lyme's Disease for about 8 months with no change, just worse progression, so now they think it might be ALS. We had a spaghetti supper benefit for them last Sunday at our church. They were expecting 1200-1400 people. I have not heard how much money was made, but I am sure it was a lot. They are wonderful people and need all prayers that can be given. I will post a few more cards from this set later this evening or tomorrow. I am off to the pool with Simon--youngest child-- and hubby--Jack. Hope your day is filled with all the joy you can stand!!!
